First off I’m not a huge horror reader so this was out of my normal range and yet I couldn’t put it down. I loved and devoured this book! A twisted retelling style sandman that was creepy and made you question the fmc. That ending though I wasn’t expecting at all!!
Creepy and unexplainable things start happening and Quinn is the only one that seems to notice. Her husband thinks she’s just having nightmares but could it be something sinister??
This quick and spooky book left me reeling. I re-read the end twice to make sure I didn't miss something...
First of all, I may never move into an old house.
Second of all, if I wake up at 2:59, I'm screaming.
Miles and Quinn are newlyweds, but do not expect their first home to change their lives...and not for the better! Poor Quinn is plagued with visions and dreams of a creature in their house, but Miles cannot see it and starts to question Quinn's sanity....
My word, I did not see the end
Short and spooky. I'm trying more and more to read out of my comfort zone and this definitely does it for me. Quinn and Miles are newly weds that moved into a new home, but something sinister is there with them tormenting Quinn with nightmares. Unable to sleep or to keep her nightmares from spilling into real life, Quinn seeks out help from a therapist who recommends she research the history of her home. Does what she find help her or make things worse? This is a twist on the lore of the Sandman
This teeny, tiny horror packs such a punch, you doing know that you're in for til it's to late! The descriptions were skin tinglingly spot on and the dread that comes in as the nights go on, always taking place at the witching hour make you absolutely shudder! Also, there was a character who has come across in most of Samantha's books, after double checking, my mind was absolutely blown! Also that ending made my mouth drop open in shock, having not expected that to happen at all. A must read!

I want to state I am a friend of the author and her PA, but I am always honest. I also received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
This was a creepy one about a couple moving into a new house and settling into married life, but things quickly change for the wife where she starts to hear and see things that no one else sees in the house and is waking up from constant nightmares. Everyone starts to think she is going off her rocker and don't believe her but then she finds out her
