"I promised him he was safe, that he would always be safe with me. I didn't know it then, but I'd already failed my son."
Holly is a loving and devoted mother. She lives and breathes for her son. Her entire world revolves around keeping the boy safe…
August is a sweet, innocent child. All he’s ever known is comfort and security. He adores his mother and loves his friends…
But when he loses his first tooth, reaching a milestone most families celebrate, everything changes.
August doesn’t understand why his mother is so afraid, and Holly can’t tell her son the truth. The bond between mother and child is unbreakable, yet the life they’ve built together teeters on the edge of a very thin blade.
In the end, will Holly be able to save her precious son? Or will she lose him to the darkness from which he came?

Reviews
This is a short easy read but definitely evil personified. The horrors of this tooth fairy reimagining leave you stunned and reeling from the sheer atrocities done to humans. Fast forward five years August is in school celebrating his birthday with his Mommy when he loses his first tooth. Terror flies through Holly she goes back to a night she would love to forget the wine, the smell of cherries and vanilla , the flowers in the meadow. She knows The tooth fairy, Cian will come for revenge.
Brittle as Bone is a spooky short story and I have to say Samantha Moran can really tell you a spooky, scary, gripping tale that will have you wanting more.
This story is about a bone creature that preys on human. Holly had to witness something bone chilling awful when she met Cian the prince and he had his way with her. She was suppose to be his, he left his seed upon her. She had years without him
Samantha Moran has done it yet again. I'm never, ever disappointed in any of her stories, and this is no exception. Brittle as Bone is a quick read, but a great read. Follow along with a human woman as she tries to save the one she loves most from a dark, arguably evil fae. Be careful in the woods at night. You never know who it what you may find if you wander too far. Who knows, perhaps you, too may find yourself bound in ways you'd never dream of.
Samantha did amazing with this one! This book took turns I didn’t expect. This was horror in all the best ways and enough to get you spooked for the night.
Samantha has done it again by taking such an incredible legend and twisting it in such a fascinating way! This story chilled me down to the bone in a few chapters and like an intoxicating treat, left me craving even more. It's so hard to do this without giving so much away, but it's refreshing to see the creature within brought back to it's roots. I highly recommend this if you like spooky and spicy tales, but definitely read the trigger warnings before you start this story!
