Hello, everyone!
I am safely back home after our whirlwind trip to the Books and Bourbon Spooky Soiree in Bardstown, KY. Wow, was that a fun adventure! Not only did I get to meet tons of new readers and other members of the book community, but I also saw some of my closest friends and colleagues, enjoyed quite a lot of history, and went on a wonderful ghost tour! How awesome! Caytlyn Brooke even captured what we believe to be a full-body apparition. That was exciting! (You should have seen the EMF detectors blaring in the cemetery!)
I've been invited to attend again in 2025, and I would go in a heartbeat if I had unlimited time, but whether or not I attend will completely depend on scheduling. I already have an event planned for October, and by next year, both of my littles will be in school. (I'm not ready for that!) So, I'm going to do my best to return because it was a great experience, but I can't make any promises just yet. Fingers crossed!

This year's book tour continues this weekend! I know --- I just can't sit still for long, can I? So, while I'm battling the fall allergies, I'm also preparing to make this new journey. If you haven't had a chance to come chat with me yet, this time around you can find me in Owosso, MI for Lust in the City! There's an Author Speed Dating activity on Friday night (11-1), and the signing is on Saturday (11-2).
There are tons of talented authors on the docket, and as far as I know, tickets are still available! Be sure to check out the event's Facebook page for more information. I hope to see you there!
Happy hauntings and happy reading, my fellow fiends! Enjoy the rest of Spooky Season!
We had such an awesome weekend in Bardstown! Good in Owasso!
