Canceled Signing: Booked in Chaos

Hello, everyone.

Recently, the coordinator of Booked in Chaos made some statements that go against my core values. Unfortunately, this means I have had to withdraw from attending the event. These statements leave me with concerns regarding safety for both myself and my readers. (I will say, however, that I attended the event last year and never felt like I wasn't cared for, nor that my readers were in danger. The decision is made out of an abundance of caution because I do not take such concerns lightly.)

Please know I do not wish ill upon the coordinator, any authors/narrators/vendors who choose to remain affiliated, or the readers who will still be in attendance. I never wish harm upon anyone. In the end, I simply had to do what I felt was right, which was to put community safety and comfort ahead of signings and sales, especially in this turbulent climate.

That said, I do apologize to any readers who were looking forward to meeting me at the Booked in Chaos event. If you were/are a ticket holder who would like to acquire signing exclusive content, like the Apothecary of Curiosities: Volume One foil edition, please reach out to me. I am willing to make accommodations. To those who have pre-ordered, I have sent out your books. I hope they arrive to you safely and you enjoy them. With any luck, I'll see you at a future signing.
