With the upcoming publication of Apothecary of Curiosities: Volume One, some changes are coming down the line. You may have already noticed that the signed paperback versions of the Apothecary of Curiosities short stories are no longer available here on the website. That's intentional!
As of December 31st, the individual short stories in the Apothecary of Curiosities series will no longer be available on any platform, printed or otherwise. That's because they will be replaced by Apothecary of Curiosities: Volume One, which also includes a bonus short story, "Death Waits For No One," which has never before been released.
In addition to this, there will be two versions of Apothecary of Curiosities: Volume One available for pre-order beginning January 1st. One is the standard version that will be available through Amazon and online book retailers. This is likely the cover you're most familiar with if you've been around for a while (off-white). The second is a signing and pre-order exclusive version of the book with an alternate black cover and red foil lettering. It's fancy! The signing exclusive book will be available on its own and as a part of the limited time Apothecary of Curiosities PR box.
If you were here for the release of Wicked Little Rabbit, you'll know how the PR boxes work, but if you're not, this is a cool new opportunity! Essentially, when you order a PR box, you will get the signing exclusive paperback cover of Apothecary of Curiosities, as well as two guaranteed extra goodies: professional character art and a book buddy! (This time, the book buddy is a 3D printed Grim Reaper cat!)
The PR boxes also come with tiered bonus opportunities. These increase in value as more pre-orders roll in. So, for example, once there are 25 pre-orders of Apothecary of Curiosities, a new item will be added to every box. The first incentive item is a recipe card for Death's summer salad featured in "Deadly Delicacies." The second incentive at 50 pre-orders is a signature tea blend based on the book. The more pre-orders roll in, the more stuff you'll collect! Pretty cool, right? I love being able to offer this to my readers.

Also, don't forget the the special edition of The Ruin will be discontinued soon, too! December 31st is the last day you can grab that particular book. It won't be coming back in stock. We're moving forward with new opportunities!
